Anti-Siphon System
The Anti-Siphon System is a valve component designed to limit the siphon effect during CSF drainage when the patient moves from a horizontal to an upright position. Below is a table of pressure changes using the Anti-Siphon System.
Ventricular catheter
Ventricular catheter through which cerebrospinal fluid is transferred from the brain to the valvular mechanism.
- Length 23 cm.
- With metal stylet for placement.
- Internal diameter 1,3mm.
- Outer diameter 2,5mm.
- It has X-ray points at a distance of 5, 10, and 15cm from the finish, so that it can be used in MRI as well.
- An antibacterial version is also available.
Peritoneal catheter
- Length 120 cm.
- Internal diameter 1,1mm.
- Outer diameter 1.3mm.
- It has X-ray points at a distance of 5, 10, and 15cm from the finish, so that it can be used in MRI as well.
- An antibacterial version is also available.
Polypropylene Connectors
Polypropylene connectors are available in the following types:
- Straight, to connect 2 different catheters.
- L Type, to change the direction of the abdominal / peritoneal catheter without causing it to crease or obstruct.
- 3-Way to connect 2 valve mechanisms to 1 peritoneal catheter or to connect 2 catheters to 1 valve.
